iTunes keeps asking for password despite me entering it in correctly...so frustrating!!!

itunes store keeps asking for my password, even when i get it right. The box just doesn’t go away and i can’t force stop. I haven’t been able to shut down my computer for 3 months or go on itunes because of this. (or do updates!!) I’m getting desperate please help cause i need itunes to play some of my music! So sick of this

I see you're having an issue with repeated prompts for your Apple ID password in the iTunes app. Start with the tips in this article:


If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books - Apple Support


If you go through all of that including the advanced steps and the issue persist, you'll find a link at the end of the article that will allow you to contact Apple Support for further help.
