Why am I not able to download Clips on my 2018 iPad. It says my iOS is up to date.

I can’t get anything after 12.4

The Apple Clips app requires iOS/iPadOS 13, now.

If you have an iPad that is stuck at iOS 12.4.3, then you have a 2013, 1st gen iPad Air or a 2013 iPad Mini 2 or 2014 iPad Mini 3.

These are the ONLY iPads that Apple has stopped upgrading beyond iOS 12.4.3.

Apple has deemed the internal hardware in these iPad models to be underpowered to run all of the new features of iPadOS.

If you really need/want the Apple Clips app, then you will need to purchase a new or discounted, refurbished iPad from Apple or the Apple Website.

They should be able to upgrade to the latest iPadOS 13.2.3.

However, I strongly recommend holding off on upgrading to iPadOS 13, at the moment, for your iPad Pro.

iPadOS 13 is rather buggy and unstable and the latest update is casusing a lot of severe battery draining issues and touch screen issues, specifically with many different years and models of iPad Pro.

The 2018, 6th gen iPad maybe be fine to upgrade to the latest iPadOS 13.2.3.

Have not seen as many issue with iPadOS and newer, standard iPads.

Best of Luck to You!
