I am using Macbook pro mid 2015 with network adapter 802.11ac version 7.77.110.0
I can connect to the wifi but the speed is ridiculously slow (not because of the internet service or anything, i can connect other devices and it works fine). It takes hours to even check for new software using Apple Software Update.

This is not related to ASU. In Windows Device Manager, if you right-click on the 11ac Adapter -> Properties -> Driver, do you see a rollback option?
Yes, i rolled back and it works now!
So should i avoid updating the driver in the future?

Here to post that having experienced this issue, the driver version that works is Broadcom 802.11ac 7.35.118.83 (4/20/18).
Is there a way to go back to this version?
I have version 7.77.110.0 and the “roll back” option is not selectable.
