Airpods Pro Battery Life (2 Hours)

I just got my Airpods Pro. I only get 2 hours with a full charge before the juice runs out. I also have noise cancellation on but I should still get 4.5 hours of battery life? Anyone else experiencing this issue? They keep dying on me everyday while I'm at the gym.... and it's so annoying!!!

How or what can I do for my Airpods pro to last at least 4 hours?

Hi A13_usr,

Thank you for your quick response to this matte!

I did reset my Airpods Pro and it also had the latest firmware which was 2B588.

My iphone X2 is also updated with the latest iOS.

I still had the same issue so I decided to exchange it.

Did it solve the issue? No.

I took them to the Gym and sure enough they died a little less than two hours.

But from testing the Airpods for about a week, this is what I noticed.

When I use them at work with noise cancellation or transparency, in two hours, i had

a battery life of a little over 50%.

I took them to the Gym, same thing.

The issue is the SAUNA. I go in the sauna at the end of my two hour workout.

I've escalated to the Apple support team but I think the issue is when the Airpods

Pro is exposed to heat, they die QUICK. I mean they drain 50% of your battery in

about ten min?

If you're not exposed to extreme heat, this thread probably won't help you.

I'm a loyal Apple customer so this won't discourage me from returning my Pros

or switching over to a competitor.

I'm still happy with quality and I'll just wait for an improved gen 4 to come out

Thank you!

Hey Hipower0429,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I understand you're not seeing the expected batter life from your AirPods Pro. I definitely want to make sure you're able to get the most from your AirPods, and I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already done so, let's reset your AirPods Pro and then test if the same behavior continues. You can find the steps for resetting them here: Reset your AirPods

You may also want to consider updating the iOS of the paired iPhone if you're not already on the latest version. Take a look at how to update here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Thanks again, and have a great day!
