View stacked tiff files

A researcher sent me a few tiff files that are stacked (slices) but I can not find a viewer on Mac OS (they use Windows). They use a program named ImageJ from the US Gov, but it does not download on my Mac running Catalina (newest version). Does anyone have any thoughts on how to open these files? Thanks!

Viewing Tiff files in photos on MacBook I have a Mac ask pro running Catalina 10.15.7. When I view a variety of tiff files they have 72 DPI and have a pixel height of 104x158. When I view them in preview the image is small ( eg 1.5 x1inch ). When I import them into photos the photo is unclear and has pixels when viewed or in a slideshow. How do I get the photos to be clear when I view in photos as I want to include them a slideshow. I have an 13 inch MacBook pro. I’m not sure I I need to do something different when I import or I need to change to jpeg. No sure if issue when the photos was saved to the CD by the professional photographer. The cd indicated the tiff file is about 3 mb. Any ideas?

AAE files note appearing in Image Capture I am using Image Capture to import videos to my Mac. Some time ago I recall seeing .AAE files along with .MOV files, which I know is needed for slo-mo videos. However, I don't see them anymore in Image Capture, so therefore I can only import the regular MOV file and lose the slow motion aspect. Any thoughts why they are now invisible in Image Capture? Any suggestions of an alternative way to import slo-mo videos to a computer (not using Photos app)? Thanks

Apple's Preview will open individual tiff images, and multipart tiff images. There is a version of ImageJ for macOS that is bundled with Java 8 (e.g. 1.8). That should work provided provided there is no 32-bit code in the ImageJ application, or any 32-bit plug-ins. The version of imageJ that uses Java 6 will definitely not work on Catalina.
