AAE files note appearing in Image Capture

I am using Image Capture to import videos to my Mac. Some time ago I recall seeing .AAE files along with .MOV files, which I know is needed for slo-mo videos. However, I don't see them anymore in Image Capture, so therefore I can only import the regular MOV file and lose the slow motion aspect.

Any thoughts why they are now invisible in Image Capture?

Any suggestions of an alternative way to import slo-mo videos to a computer (not using Photos app)?
