How can I add connected apps to the Samsung smart tv Apple TV plus app?

The TV app on smart TV's is standalone and only allows for accessing purchased content as well as Apple TV channels. It cannot communicate with 3rd party apps to playback content.

Disney + requires a supported device please see the following from Disney:

"Is Apple TV supported on Disney+?

Disney+ is supported on Apple TV HD (4th gen or later) and Apple TV 4K running tvOS 11.0 and later.

General Notes

• High-speed Internet is required
• HDCP and high-speed HDMI is required, with HDCP 2.2 required for 4K Ultra HD and/or HDR content
• For the best experience, we recommend using the most recent available operating system version

I would recommend checking to see if your Smart TV manufacturer has an available update, if the Disney + app is not installed.

If you could get the Apple TV app on your Samsung Smart TV, then the Disney+ app should also be available from the APPS store.

If adding the Disney+ app to your TV natively is not supported for your model TV, then you can add a HDMI device that allows adding the Disney+ app (Apple TV set-top box, Roku, Fire TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox One).
