Can I download Apple TV+ shows to my pc

Question

I have poor bandwidth and therefore need to download my Apple TV+ shows. I’m using a PC and need to know how to access Apple TV+ from iTunes.

You can watch Apple TV+ shows and movies streaming on the Apple TV app and tv.apple.com.

Viewing content from Apple TV+ in iTunes is not supported.

Downloading content from Apple TV+ outside the Apple TV app is not supported.

It is mind-boggling that I cannot watch Apple TV+ shows on iTunes. I certainly hope that will change the future.

Apple has dismantled iTunes on Mac, splitting it into separate Music, TV and Podcast apps. It would be a matter of Apple doing the same for Windows.
