Help me hide "hidden" files.

Whenever I login my hidden files are shown. I have tried to hide them through terminal but that does not work for me anymore. On another account on the same machine everything works fine. Cmd-Shift-dot works, but that is not the point.

macOS Catalina 10.15.1

iMac Line (2012 and Later)

Search the web for Tinkertool and install the Catalina one

Many options like this are available from a panel.

In the Finder, press Command-Shift-period to toggle “show hidden files” on or off.

If that doesn’t work you should trashh the Finder preferences.
