Logic pro with Automator

I'm working on a project that requires me to create an m4a file often 10 or 15 times a day. This results in a number of extremely repetitive steps (like sharing to Music but also stripping off the dateTime information that Logic Pro insists on appending to the the title. So I created an Automator script to carry this out which works quite well except for one thing. The music is recorded in MIDI and when you carry out the steps mentioned everything works well. But if you use the Automator script, well it does crazy things to the MIDI stream, doubling parts up, playing the same few notes several times, completely messing it up in fact. Can anyone explain why this would happen and why I might do to stop it?

No, it's just Automator. I captured the actions needed and saved them as an app, then saved that as a key in Elgato Stream Deck. Run it by pressing that key (after you've allowed it to run in the Security preferences. That actions are simply File | Share | Music (as keystrokes since the menu disappears if you try to capture the mouse movements) then backspace to delete the DateTime information in the dialog box and the Return key to start the share process.

It's ridiculous that you can't set a hot key from within Logic Pro for anything on the File menu and you can't set a preference that leaves out the DateTime information either. If I could do that I wouldn't really need to use Automator because I could program the Stream Deck to do that for me.
