I order a pair of airpods and it say it was shipped but when I check the tracking info it says clearance in progress and it at a clearance agency awaiting for final release it coming from Shanghai China I brought them on the Apple website

Customs clearance is a normal part of the process that anything being shipped out of a country goes through.
How long does it take to clear cause it been saying since 2:22 am December 4 the delivery date is December 13
You would need to ask Chinese Customs or Fedex/UPS.
If you were given an arrival date of December 13, I’m 90% sure they will arrive on that date or before.
How long for you until the status changed? I’ve ordered mine (UK delivery) MacBook Pro 16 custom made on December 3rd and December 5th it changed to “shipping to store” since then nothing anymore. Pickup date is planned for the 20th
