iPhone 11 wont sync to iTunes with OS High Sierra

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro. I recently bought an iPhone 11. Now I canNOT sync the iPhone 11 to iTunes. My OS is High Sierra. Anyone have any work arounds to get iTunes to recognize my iPhone11? (Been told my 2010 MacBook Pro cannot upgrade to Catalina)

System requirements for an iPhone 11 are:

macOS Catalina 10.15 using the Finder
macOS El Capitan 10.11.6 through macOS Mojave 10.14.6 using iTunes 12.8 or later
Windows 7 or later using iTunes 12.10 or later (free download from itunes.com/download)

You need a MBP 2012 or later.
