I'm a new user. I push the large button and the display goes to the clock face, zoomed in. A second push brings the Dock, but only for a split second before it zooms back in on a portion of the screen. How do I get to "settings"?

If you press once on the digital crown that will put you on your apps page,there is an icon of what looks like a little cog,that is your settings app tap on that and you will see accessibility in the list,tap that and turn OFF zoom.
On the watch go into settings/accessibility and turn zoom OFF.
