2019 Macbook Pro 16" | Bluetooth / Display Issues

Two issues I'm having:

  1. The Bluetooth signal is weak. My Magic Mouse is constantly skipping / not maintaining a connection despite being within range of the machine.
  2. If I undock the computer from my two external monitors and go to re-dock it, the screen just flashes. I have to re-start the computer in order for it to pick up the other two monitors and stop flashing.

Anybody else?

I am seeing the same Bluetooth issue. Headphones and mouse disconnect every few minutes.

i have a similar issue with my screens too. I am using dual Thunderbolt displays mostly but sometimes dual Dell 24” displays.

This has gotten to be such a pain that I switched back to my old Apple laptop. Sadly, I am happier Ian g my old met laptop compared to this new one. I am very disappointed with the new computer.

I haven't had issue #2 (the external monitor), I have had the Bluetooth one. My 16" 2019 MBP is in the same location my 15" 2016 MBP and multiple times per day my Magic Mouse is losing connection. Also sometimes both the MM & Magic Keyboard input will stop (as in neither does anything) for 10-15 seconds while the MBP's own trackpad & keyboard still work. The last time this happened I tried turning off the bluetooth and I got the spinning beachball.

On my MBPro 16, I have the unstable Bluetooth problem for my external trackpad and keyboard. I found it happened after I paired a Huawei Bluetooth earphone, it show the earphone is connected even the earphone was turned off, I cannot remove it from the Bluetooth preferences. and the other devices become jumping from "connected-disconnected" cycle in few seconds frequency/period.

Same here. Cannot for the life of me figure it out. Magic trackpad is no more than 2 feet from the mbp 16, just how my 2017 mbp 15 used to be, but it can never have a stable bluetooth connection. I've used 3 trackpads with it, reset SMC, ran diagnostics, deleted and paired again, and made sure no other devices were connected as well as turn off wifi completely with no luck. I've also moved the computer, tilted it, repositioned it, brought it closer. It's absolutely unpredictable and makes no sense. The trackpad will work just fine a good distance away but at 2 feet away on the table it'll randomly get bad signal and just stop responding or become way too jittery.

I have ALSO had multiple issues with external monitor. Again, same setup my 2017 15" was on with no issues. I've swapped dongles and docking stations with no absolute fix. I've had the computer restart with a "fatal error" or something along those lines, I've had it come back and only be able to display 30hz until i disconnect and reconnect, and i've had it stop working with a display adapter until I restart it. This has happened with a few OWC adapters and docks. I only have one large 4k monitor now, didn't get to check how it worked with my old 3 monitor setup.
