Mechanical keyboard (Redragon) doesn't let MacBook Pro 2018 sleeps

Hello,

I have a mechanical keyboard (Redragon brand) that when I connect it to my MacBook Pro 2018 and later when trying to put the MacBook to sleep it doesn't allow (the screen goes for 1 second and wakes up again), even when leave the MacBook idle till it sleeps, it doesn't as well.

When I unplug the keyboard everything is back to normal. Can you please advise?

MacBook Pro 13”, macOS 10.15

Open Keyboard Viewer & see if any keys are highlighted in Grey even though your not pressing them.

Unfortunately, that didn't help.

Looked into the keyboard viewer and found no highlighted buttons over there.

It's more than likely drawing so much power that the Mac must remain awake to keep it functional.

This is something you'll have to take up with the manufacturer.
