Hello!
I have iPhone 8 updated to the latest iOS ver with glass screen protector (full with black up and down), have some problems with proximity sensor. During calls when I move phone near ear screen turns off - this is ok, but when I am moving phone away from my ear screen doesn't turn on - not always, sometimes it works. This is annoying. Does anyone have idea what to do? Phone is new, I've had it for 4 days.

Does the screen protector cover the area at the top portion of the phone where the proximity sensor is located? You may need to try the phone with the screen protector removed. It may be blocking it to the point that it is not working correctly.

Yes, it covers. The glass is black, but there are small points on the sensors.
I wonder why, out of 10 attempts to make a call, why doesn't the screen light up 5 times at a distance from the ear and 5 times work properly?
If it was a matter of glass on the screen, it shouldn't work at all? Or turn off the screen before I put it on my ear?
Did the packaging your screen protector came in specifically say that it is compatible with iPhone 8? If the clear area in your black screen protector doesn't align perfectly with the sensor beneath, only ambient light from a certain angle and brightness may be recognized. Could this be your problem?
