I’m working in FCP and I need help putting two separate audio clips on one track (a step by step response would be greatly appreciated)

What file format are GarageBand tracks saved as? Hey friends, I have an m4a track that I'd like to upload to our podcast site (it's the audio from a recorded Zoom conversation). I want to add an intro to the conversation, so I recorded one in GarageBand and imported the existing m4a file into GarageBand as well, to make one track together. Having saved that as one track in GarageBand, the podcast site doesn't recognize it for uploading. So I'm wondering: What file format are GarageBand tracks saved as? Can I save a GarageBand track as an m4a file? Is there a different Mac-friendly audio editing software that would allow me to add a separate voice recording on to an m4a file? Thank you!

Can you export multiple audio tracks in an edited Multicam clip? I'm doing a rough cut of a music video using the Multicam feature in Final Cut Pro. When I'm finished the rough cut, I need to be able to export six audio tracks for mixing from the Multicam edit to Logic Pro. Is it possible to do this? It seems as if it is only possible to select one audio track in a Multicam Clip. Can anyone recommend a work-around or a workflow for this. Thanks

Split Screen Not Supported Logic iOS Hi, I’m trying to import audio files into Logic Pro on the iPad. The only way I can find in the manual is to drag from Files in split screen. I split screen in Files, but opening Logic it says “Split Screen not Supported” I have no idea what to do about this. I tried Multitasking, but again Logic pays it no heed and fills the screen with no option to change that. I’m assuming there has to be (or WILL be) a way to import audio - it’s ostensibly a professional app. There isn’t a Logic folder I can see in Files where I could move audio files. Any wisdom on this one, please? iPad Pro 12.9 screen 4th generation iOS 16.5 Logic Pro - just out.

I am not sure what you are trying to achieve but you can work with audio in much the same way you do with video.

If you want to create a new audio file, make a new project, add your audio clips to the timeline and export a master file. Click Settings, choose Audio Only.

If you just want to have a clip with the contents of both audios, do as above but instead of exporting select the clips in the timeline and create a new Compound Clip.
