Syncing up drum tracks

I use BFD3 for my Logic projects. I need to sync (tweak) up my drum track to the rest of the project. Trying to avoid laying down another drum track. Would the "Apply project tempo to region and downbeat" do the trick?

sync lock to edit podcast? Ripple delete all tracks? I need to edit a podcast in logic. So i need to use "delete and move" to cut out some parts and just delete some noisy parts when there is someone speaking on the other track. But when I use "delete and move" its easy to get both tracks out of sync. I tried to group both clips but then i cannot delete any noise on one track when the other person is speaking. Is there something like a "sync lock" in video editing applications? there you always move all tracks when you ripple delete so video and audio stays in sync but you can always erase parts frome every track individually as long as its not a ripple edit? Or is there a command to ripple delete all tracks even if I only select a part of one track with the marquee tool??

Logic vs GarageBand Import Issues With Tempo Hello all. I recorded a song in Logic at 128 BPM. Audio guitars, midi drums. I exported the track to an audio file and sent it to my singer. He only has GarageBand, and not noticing the tempo, recorded his vocal tracks at 120. I received his GarageBand tracks, and even though he set his tempo different, as far as audio is concerned, they are in sync. However, when I upgrade his GarageBand files into Logic, then import them into my original Logic project, the tempo is completely off. I've tried importing his project files with the tempo info removed, and no luck. I tried removing them via Edit>Tempo>Remove after import, but then again, no luck. Logic wants to speed it up by those 8 beats. Even when I export his vocal tracks to AIFF files, then import them to my project, the speeding up continues. I'm sure I'm missing something simple (such as turning off a tempo setting), but any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Settings for "automatically import MIDI tempo information" in Logic? I recently imported a bunch of MIDI files into a project, and selected "Import tempo information" and checked the "don't ask from now on." Now I want to import a MIDI file and NOT the tempo information, but I can't find the setting/preference to change this back to "ask". I spent about an hour searching through the Logic Pro "help" pages to no avail. I do this with automation all the time, switching between the "always" and "never" under the "move track automation with regions" preference. So, I'm trying to find the equivalent with importing MIDI tempo information. I can't find it under any of the submenus under Preferences>MIDI nor Project Settings>MIDI nor Project Settings>Synchronization Thanks for any suggestions/help

Check the manual on Quantize. Also check out the Piano Roll Editor.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I played to the clicks. But there is one drum fill I do that is not spot on. I could live with it but I know its there and want to correct it. How can I fix that one drum fill. I hope this makes things clearer.

This does not compute. You use BFD in Logic to create your drum track. You played to the click, or to a reasonably stable playback, yes ? If you started with the drums then you played the rest to that drums.

How is that not in sync ?
