FaceTime Connecting to Strangers / Shows As One of My Contacts

Several times now, while in a FT conversation a stranger has joined the call - it said the person calling was the same as the contact I was talking to. Just now I had a kid join the voice call, and almost immediately after some womans video call showed up!

This is a massive privacy violation! WTF!

How do I get this to stop happening? Not sure I can trust Apple these days, this is sketchy AF.

got a facetime call from unknown Gmail id. I thought Apple devices were safe until I got a call from an unknown Gmail id. I was shocked a lot. I never share my contact details with unknown persons. Any option to "select receiving calls from contacts" for facetime calls only? Messages and phone calls are okay to handle with unknown persons but a video call is scary. Sometimes when we are in hurry, we will lift a video call as an audio call. Apple should concentrate on this part. I saw on the internet, there is a feature for blocking particular calls in the facetime app that is not a solution. If we block that call that scammer will call with another ID. Please help if I miss any option to resolve my issue.

I keep getting FaceTime calls from a friend of a friend who is not my friend Few times already I have received FaceTime calls from a person that I don’t know. The creepy part is that the person calling is a friend of a good friend of mine, but I don’t have his contact, he doesn’t have mine. How can that happen? Maybe once, ok... but already 3 times?? Thanks for any feedback.
