When inputting keywords into the info of a photo, I used to be able to press "enter" after each input... this allowed for multiple entries in less time. However, this feature has been removed, and now, after clicking "enter" after an entry, I must use my mouse to scroll the cursor back in the keyword field and click so that I may input another keyword.. this is really frustrating and tedious.

Which version of macOS X and Photos are you using? Did you just upgrade to Catalina?
This has been a problem in Photos 5.0 on Catalina since it came out, at least for iCloud Photos Libraries.

I am currently using the work-around to use the keyword shortcuts from the Quick Group in the Keyword Browser. While working on pictures for a certain project I try to identify the keywords I will use most and add them to the Quick Groups. For the keywords in the Quick Group I can assign keywords to several selected photos at once with a single key stroke, without opening the Info.

The fastest way to add multiple keywords to an image or group of images is with the Keyword pane;
Pressing "enter" after inputing keywords no longer works!
