wifi change and remote not working

My WiFi changed but I can’t get into setting to set up new one. My remote won’t work to swipe to settings. Tried to press menu and home button, and light flashed, but remote still doesn’t work to swipe. I also unplugged, but still not working. Any ideas on what I do now?
