Mac mini late 2018 black screen glitch,no problem using 2011 Mac mini same setup

Problem solved,USB-C to HDMI cable has solved my issue,no more glitches. Thks den.thed for the help.

The Mac mini is up-to-date,I replaced the cable, I will purchase a USB-C to HDMI adapter,

while I was typing this response,the screen black screened for 1 or 2 seconds with the new cable ,so I am now purchasing the adapter and will post results, Thank you for responding
