OpenVPN > IPv6 on Mac (both Catalina & Mojave)

I need a qualified advice regarding OpenVPN

In iOS 13 / iPadOS 13 i use the OpenVPN Connect app and I have access to IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Using the SAME openVPN configuration files on macOS Catalina (but also previously in Mojave) with the following apps: Tunnelblick, ShimoVPN, Viscosity and OpenVPN Connect for Mac I get only IPv4 addresses.

It is clear that there is a Mac related problem, maybe a hint how to solve this, please?

In your original post you referred to the OpenVOn app. Now you are saying it is a protocol not an app. Maybe this will help you: https://openvpn.net/

Why are you using OpenVPN? Are you creating a tunnel to a private network such as a corporate network?
