iPad holder that mounts to mic stand

Anybody seen a iPad holder that mounts on the side of a mic stand? The iPad makes a perfect songbook but would really be nice to get rid of the music stand.

ahh.. can't say I've seen any... mostly because the purpose of using the iPad as as music stand is so you can do away with sheet music..

don't know if anyone in here is a church worship leader (i know lots are using iPads in worship) but I've got a 5 part series on my blog on using iOS in worship if anyone is interested in checking it out.. http://chrisburke.ca/category/ios-worship-1/

I've been 100% iPad for 2 years now.. will never no back to sheet music.. check my series I posted.. I actually use 2 iPads now.. I use an iPad mini for my OnSong sheets and an iPad 2 for my loops (running through loopy HD.. going to be doing another iOS series very soon.. just trying to decide which apps to write about, as I don't want to duplicate what I've done, OR things that others are already writing about.. I use a yorkville clip for my iPad 2.. and iK multimedia is releasing an iPad mini stand really soon that they are sending me to review soon.. they send me a bunch of products to review for them.. I'll be reviewing their blueboard soon too.. the first ever buetooth midiboard.. it's going to be awesome!!

getting ready to release a review of the Rode smartav (a mic made just for the iPhone) and the iRig stomp (a stomp box pass through made for the iPad (but also for your pedalboard) it's pretty awesome... they'll all be coming up on my site in the next month or 2..

I enjoyed your blog. Want to check out that SongSuggest app. Mostly a matter of money here. If it were just me, no problem but with a large band onstage with me, costs to make the shift aren't minor. We use MediaShout software for projection and that interfaces with SamePage, which was a paperless music system that came out a good while ago. Don't know if the cost ever came down but it would have cost $10k for us to switch to it!

it doesn't have to be expensive.. my team didn't all do iPads.. in fact I was the only one with an iPad.. but we all had digital music.. what i did was I used the VGA out cable ($30) from apple, plugged into my iPad and then pluged in a VGA splitter/amplifier box which allowed me to plug multiple monitors into a single source (but all the same image.. and then we had about 4 19" flat screen tv's on the stage, so everyone could see the music. the music they all saw was just a mirror image from my iPad.. so every time I turned a page with my bluetooth pedal, their pages turned.. it actually worked really well, because it allowed me to know that we all had exactly the same music.. with worship music, there are so many different versions of each song out there... but when we are all mirroring from 1 iPad, you all have the same chords, same key, same words, same arrangement.. our synth player played from chords too, so it worked out perfecetly..

for projection we used OpenSong (free open source and cross platform) but I also have ProPresenter (about $400) and it has allows you to use an iPad as a stage display, so the projection team can (for example) send a message just to the worship team and it will just display on the iPad, not the display screens for the whole congregation to see.. none of this $10k display stuff..
