my old phone 7 plus was from ATT, ATT said it is fully unlocked but can't active from Sprint. I got to know that ATT uses GSM network while Sprint uses CDMA. Just want to know if my phone supports both GSM and CDMA. If not can it be converted?
No. Its a hardware issue. The A1778 model has a different cellular chip, that lacks the CDMA hardware. There's no way to convert it, short of replacing the chip inside, which is close to a new iPhone as its all part of the logic board.

That will depend on the exact model of iPhone 7 you have.
The A1660 model does support CDMA, the A1778 model does not.

Thanks Phil0124 for that info. Is it possible to convert/change A1778 model to dual network or CDMA?
My understanding is that these are hardware specifications. If your phone was built with only one system, there is no way to change that.
