Upgrade to MacOS Catalina and Microsoft Apps

I upgraded to MacOS Catalina on my Mac desktop, but now can't access my microsoft apps - Word, Excel, etc. without upgrading (and paying) for Microsoft 365. Is there a way for me to access my old version of Microsoft apps?

No, you need 64 bit version of MS Office. If you want to stay with Microsoft, your options are Office 365 or buying Office 2019 which is a 64 bit app. If you decide to go away from MS Office, I understand a lot of users like LibreOffice.com
