Can't airdrop from my iphone to my macbook air.

I currently have Catalina installed and have 7 plus. Both my Mac and my iPhone are set to Everyone on airdrop but my phone isn't finding my mac and airdrop is not showing up in the Finder menu. I have been able to airdrop instantly before so I don't know what changed.

Airdrop not working : Mac not showing on iPhone I have an iPhone 12 iOS 14.6 with Wifi and Bluetooth enabled and "everyone" selected in AirDrop. I have a Macbook pro M1 2020 iOS Monterey 12.5 on same wifi network, bluetooth enabled and "everyone" selected in AirDrop. Firewall is also turned off. On the Mac I can see the iPhone in AirDrop, but I cannot see the Mac on the phone. Why and how do I fix it ?! I tried disabling and enabling everything possible, but to no avail - the Macbook simply does not want to show up on the iPhone...

AirDrop I cannot get AirDrop to work from my iPhone to my Mac and cannot figure out why as it has worked in the past....I have tried everything save standing on my head, lol ~ any help would be greatly appreciated - TIA

An automatic update or upgrade(?) may have changed the ability for AirDrop to function.

Are both devices fully up-to-date? Restarted?

~ or checked the 'Continuity' settings?
