Ipad 7 Screen feels plastic and gets inwards dip

I have recently bought 2 ipad 7 and i feel that its screen is plastic and touch is not very accurate.. i have to press bit harder on this screen.

I can assure you that your iPad has a piece/sheet of glass over your 7th gen iPad's screen;

It may dip inward a tiny bit because the glass on that iPad is not laminated ( glued ) to the iPad’s screen.

There is a slight air gap between the glass and the screen.

This is normal.

You should not have to press any harder on the screen.

I still own older iPads that have non-laminated/non-glued screens and I don't have to tap any harder on those iPads to register a touch.
