so im trying to downlaod snapchat on my ipod 5 and it wont let me it keeps saying "snapchat" is not compatable with this ipod. what do i do?

You download it on a newer iOS device with the same Apple ID and then see if the App Store offers an older version; the current one requires an iOS version above the maximum for a fifth generation iPod touch.
