Hi. I'm due to change my current iPhone to a new iPhone. I have a whole music library downloaded via apple music with the help of its subscription. So when i change my device, would i be able to get the entire library back, without losing any data?

Yes, you will be able to do that. Let's make sure that you have syncing turned on. Go to settings > music > iCloud Music Library must be turned on.
