2 phone numbers registered on iMessage how do I delete one

Had a temp number until my old phone number transferred and now the temp number is still Registered to my Apple ID and I can’t delete it. That is the number that shows up when I call someone. How can I delete it

I’d like to deregister my old phone number from iMessage but I don’t have an access to the number an Apple phone anymore. The number is still connected for iMessage on my other device tho. Have you removed the number from your Apple ID?
