I am trying to use an old iPhone 4 which is trying to log on to my Apple Account using and old e-mail log-in. I change e-mail provider some time ago and changed my account details on all my devices. Now if I try to log-on with the iPhone 4 it wants to use my old e-mail, how can I change this to my new e-mail?

Is it asking for your old log in to update apps? Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
Or you can try to set up Family Sharing to keep access to your purchases.

Thanks for your reply.
Because the iPhone is trying to access my Apple ID using my old e-mail it is not recognising details, so I can't add apps from the iStore or access my iCloud account etc.
When I updated my e-mail I updated all the devices I was using then, but didn't update the old iPhone 4 that I haven't used for ages.
Will I have to go to an actual Apple Store?
You are welcome. You shouldn't need to go to the Apple Store. When you changed your email provider, did you change the email address of your existing Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? If you created/use a new Apple ID, you will lose access to some of your data and the purchases made with your old Apple ID.
Use the first link in my post as a guide of where to sign out of the old ID and then sign in with the new ID.
I've changed my e-mail for iTunes, but the phone is still asking for the old logins.
The link you sent says I need to change my Apple ID back to the old email, then change back once sorted.
I'll have a go at weekend.
