Is there any way to retrieve deleted text messages?

The only way to retrieve a deleted message is to restore the phone to a backup that was made when the message was still on the phone. Remember, if you have no backup, there is no restoring. Also, a restore wipes the phone and will take it back to the date/time of the backup and anything done since then would be lost.
