Email not marked as read in iOS 13.3
Well, here is me hoping that iOS 13.3 would have fixed the annoying issue of emails not being marked as read on O365 accounts. Phone has been restarted but made no difference.

I see that you're having an issue with mail not showing as read on your iPhone. I understand wanting to get this resolved, and I'd be happy to look into this with you.
Let's begin by having you remove the account from your iPhone and then add it back and test to see if the issue persists. The second article will guide you through those steps, if you're using the Mail app. Look at the section titled "Remove your email account and set it up again".

Are you able to check your mail from a web browser? If so, does this mark the email as read on the iOS device?

iOS 13.3 iPhone 11. Both iCloud and Office 365 email accounts. Only the O365 account is affected. Using iOS Mail, no 3rd party email tools installed.
OK I will try that. For the record, Outlook 2016 and Exchange web access work correctly.
