I want to buy a Apple TV, but before I do that, I have some questions about it.
Can I access my iCloud with this device
Can I play mij own holiday video 's from my iCloud with this device on my TV

Yes, the current models Apple TV set-top boxes allow you to access iCloud photos and videos through the Photos app on that device.
