I'm trying to use my Apple TV HD 32GB to be the Home Hub. On Apple TV>settings>Airplay and Homekit>Homekit>homekit>Room>AirPlay2 and Homekit require an ICloud account. OK
I have an Icloud account. How do I get Apple TV to see it?

Select iCloud and login in with your apple id. You may want to login to Store also.

Thanks, my problem was that I was not signed in as the default user. When I corrected that with the help of Apple support the problem was solved

Air Ply and HomeKit
Under Home Hub
You should see the Name of your Home.
Select it and it should show "Connected" you may even try toggling it to Disabled and then Connected again.
