Failure to install an update 6.1.1 on watch series 2

My series 2 watch is running 6.1 but it fails to install 6.1.1, I tried multiple reboots of both phone and watch, deleted the software update. Nothing helps.

Apple watch SE 1st Gen will not complete software update Just setting up a new watch SE 1st gen. It successfully paired in family mode with iPhone 14 pro, running ios 16.6. However, like other posts in this forum the latest watch OS ( I think 9.6.1) doesn't successfully install. After the updating and preparing process, which takes about an hour, the watch app just asks again to update to the latest version.

Apple Watch Series 4 Updating to OS6.0.1 - Time estimated says 6-10 hours then fails. I'm trying to update my Series 4 Apple Watch to 6.0.1 on an iPhone XR. I've just updated my iPhone to 13.1.3 but when I try to install the latest watch software - it says the estimated time remaining is 1 day, then 12 hours, then 6 hours before eventually saying "Software Update Failed - An error occurred downloading the latest version of WatchOS on your Apple Watch". Any ideas why / how to get around this? I've tried restarting both devices and deleting the Update info from the "Usage" area on the Watch app.

Have you placed your Watch on the charger and have at least a 50% charge?
