Buy an AppleCare plan outside US

Hi,

I bought an iMac from Sri Lanka (Authorized Reseller) on December 2019, But when I try to buy an AppleCare plan it does not allow me to purchase without a US credit card. The billing address country seems to be locked and I can't select my country from the dropdown. Appreciate your help resolving this matter. Thank you.
