high sierra usb install

I am trying to do a usb install to high sierra.

The BT mouse and keyboard are not recognised at installer stage.

if i boot to the current os they work perfectly.

Any ideas??

Why won't a bootable USB with High Sierra load on my late 2011 macbook pro? I created a bootable USB with High Sierra loaded on it. Then I replaced the HDD with a new SSD. Started reinstall with "Option" key pressed. The USB with High Sierra shows up and I selected it. Reinstall goes well for a couple of minutes, but then I get a gray screen with a circle and a line through it. I understand that it's because it's the wrong version, but that's the version that was on it before I made the switch to a new SSD. What am I doing wrong?

Update OSx Sierra to High Sierra fails I have a n early 2011 MacBook pro 13" which is currently running Sierra version 10.12.6 and it is running very slow these days so I tried to update it to High Sierra to see if that would help. When I try the update it gets to about 90% of the bar under the Apple symbol and stops moving and starts issuing 3 beeps and will go no further. I know the USB flash drive I am using is good because it worked on a different computer. Does anyone know how I can get past this?

Borrow and use a wired keyboard and wired mouse. You could try an SMC and NVRAM reset, but that’s far from certain.

Get a cheap USB KB & Mouse, even PC wull work.
