Photo storage
I just deleted 7000 of my photos and only 240 left but the 5g of storage is still full suggesting I buy a plan with more storage why hasn’t it freed up ?

iCloud stores many other info other than your Photos such as ike Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, Mail, Notes, Voice Memos, shared photos, iCloud Photos*, Health data, call history, and files you store in iCloud Drive.
Your iPhone backup is also stored if you have enabled it.
