AirPods Pro Under Ios 13?

I heard that the AirPods pro could connect to an android device. Are AirPods able to connect to a device under IOS 13 (for example iPhone 6) and if it could connect, would it work the same?

Airpod Pros will connect to any device that supports the Bluetooth connection.

On Android devices or iPhones that do not have iOS 13, you won’t get all the software features(fit test, special equalizer).
