This Model is Incompatible Past 10.13:
I had the same Mac — it’s incompatible with Mojave and thereafter. Technology changes, and that means that it does not meet standards. So, I’ve upgraded. I’m always, for now.

Your macbook/pro build model configuration only upgrades to High Sierra 10.13.6.
Original OS: Mac OS X 10.6.3 (10D2094)
Later OS: Mac OS X 10.6.4 (10F2108)
• Maximum OS: macOS 10.13.6 (17G65)
The newer links from support articles show working recent installer downloads.
But once at the end of that trail, you have to improvise; to keep using older Mac.
