Apple Carplay Restrictions

Hey Everyone:

Has anyone noticed that the limitations of Apple Carplay is starting to get pretty restrictive that its almost to annoying and distracting to use. I have to be honest it is a really nice system and integration, and how well SIRI works directly with Carplay compared to the manufactures stock system is really nice. However it used to be that you could scroll a limited list of playlists from your library on the Carplay screen, even if it was a short limited list it was still better than it current setup where it will not allow you to select or scroll anything while the vehicle is in motion. I totally understand that its distracting, but believe me it way worse that I go with the workaround of going to my phone instead and going through the process of selecting a playlist through my phone. Yet my vehicle's factory media control program allows full access to every part of my library without any restrictions.

Its just sad how much Carplay was intended to be an extension, and now its more restrictive than just using your phone, just connected and hanging on your dashboard by vent clip...

Apple, can you listen and loosen up???
