Can I download iTines movies from my iPad mini 5 to an external SSD with the Lightning to USB 3 adapter and a powered USB hub?

Is this possible? Can I also watch the movies from the external SSD. I have the USB 3 camera adapter and a powered USB hub

Hello,

The TV application does not support store movies on an external storage device.
