Hello my home button is broken. I''m getting a new iPhone today I wanted to back up my information on my MacBook. I reset all settings but because I have no physical home button on the screen any longer. I am unable to get into my iPhone. What should I do.

All you can do is get the hardware fixed and see if it can be done without compromising the data. You cannot backup without that essential piece of hardware working.
