I recently installed Catalina which immediately inactivated my Toast Titanium DVD burner. I had only recently purchased it and the company won't give me any slack when it comes to replacing it🤬🤬🤬. Are there any free DVD burners? I suspect not!!!
If you are trying to copy DVD's then there is an app called Handbrake which will copy DVD's. To do this legally you must own the DVD not a copyrighted version..

Which version of Toast Titanium? If it's an old one, then what you have is likely a 32 bit version, and all 32 bit software is dead in Catalina.
The current version is 18. I'm using version 17 of Toast Titanium in Catalina, and it works just fine.

I assume you mean your DVD burning app. is what was deactivated. There is a free Mac app for burning DVD's called Burn.
If this is a commercial DVD, copying them is illegal. If they are home DVDs you can use the Burn app which is pre-installed on your Mac.
The built in Mac burn app will not make them playable on DVD players. You need a third party burn app.
