does "Smart Invert" still not work well in iOS 13.3 (new updated version)?

"Smart Invert" does not work well since IOS 13 was released. I have to remain my phone version IOS 12 because of the "Smart Invert" issue.

Smart Invert (a feature in accessibility) does not work the same as before, however, I did not see Apple announces any update on this feature.

In iOS 12.1, Smart invert made the photos (in photo App) a bit darker and deeper (that was much better for dark environment) but in iOS 13 they remain unchanged. However, when the photos are in form of collection (e.g. Years, Months, Days) they look like "classic inverted" and it makes search very difficult. Does it look like a bug for this feature? Or this change is meant to be.

Please let me know if it is already solved.

Thank you

iPhone XS, iOS 12

I use smart invert to change black text on white background (most websites) to white text on black background. And yes, since iOS 13.3 this doesn’t work.

There seems to be a conflict with Dark Mode. Turn Dark mode off and smart invert seems to work better (at least for the white/black background swap). I don’t use smart invert for accessibility, I just use it for web browsing (Safari) especially at nighttime or to save battery in bright daylight. But some websites already have black backgrounds, so I am often turning smart invert off and on with the triple click shortcut.

If you use smart invert for the same reason then try reader view. The general situation makes it difficult to sort out.
