My Mac Mini (late 2014) doesn't support Sierra (still on OS X El Capitan) and I have just spent the morning putting together a calendar in iPhoto only to discover I can't get it printed. All suggestions welcome as to if/how I can get round this. It was to be a Christmas gift... I'm UK based.

You can try printing it to a PDF and then seeing if you can find someone to print it. I believe that the company who did all the printing for Apple was Mimeo. Don't know whether they're available in the UK. But, I'm sure a search will turn up a similar service.

Mac mini 2014 is still supported with macOS 10.15 Catalina. iPhoto was obsoleted several years ago and Apple has announced they shut down their printing service a few years ago. You will need to use a 3rd party printing service. Within the newer Macintosh system software you can get photo printing applications from the App Store that integrate with the Mac’s Photos application.
