iOS 13/macOS 10.13.6 iCloud Syncing Issues

Noticed recently that any changes I make to my contacts on my iOS 13-running iPhone are not reflected on my macOS 10.13.6-running MacBook Pro*.

If I make the changes via the iCloud.com web app they change immediately. Using the macOS app, nothing.

Using Calendar via either the macOS app or the iCloud web app works fine.

Anyone else having these issues and/or any fix for them?

Thanks.

Hi SRASC,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble syncing contacts between devices. I’m happy to help.

I suggest signing out of iCloud on both devices, and then back in to see if that helps.

You can sign out on your Mac by clicking  > iCloud > Sign Out.

You can sign out on your iPhone by tapping Settings > [Your Name] > Sign Out.

Restart both devices before signing back in. Then, try these steps:

Take care.
