Mac OS 10.13.6 should I use a VPN ? Anything else?

Use a VPN only if you want to create a private tunnel between two networks such as from your home to a corporate or school network. You could also use a VPN if you live or work in an environment that restricts Internet access based on your location, but to do so would violate some law or policy.


In addition, public VPNs funnel all your data through the VPN servers thereby getting access to all your information to do with what they want. Public VPNs do not provide any data privacy or security. If you are looking for data security use secure protocols such as SSL (https).
